Ejection Tray Design

SUMMARY

Implemented a tray to prevent ejected part from falling to the ground
Why?
Picking up the part from the ground requires the operator to perform Lock Out Tag Out to obtain the fallen part inside the workstation, causing around 5 minutes of downtime for both left and right hand sides

ACHIEVEMENTS

• Ejected part is caught by the tray, reducing production downtime and saving JPH loss by 10.35 (based on 1 incident/hour)

• Reduces quality issues caused by part bending/breakage from falling
