SUMMARY

Reoriented the anchor block to change the part loading orientation on the BTM Press Machine
Why?
The part loading orientation had to be reversed to allow the newly designed MHR (previous page) to move the part to the main loading fixture

ACHIEVEMENTS

• Implemented a cost-effective solution by reversing the orientation of existing right and left-hand anchor blocks, enabling a new part loading configuration without the need for additional outsourced component purchases

• Improved station efficiency, enabling single-operator functionality → $100 000 CAD in annual savings when one operator is reduced in the day and afternoon shift
